The Coordinated Care Initiative started in April 2014 and, at the time of this webinar, was underway in seven counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Mateo, and Santa Clara.
This webinar covered CCI-specific consumer protections including the right to continue seeing an out-of-network provider once enrolled in a new health plan. This webinar also provided a detailed summary of protections beneficiaries have against being improperly billed by providers.
