
Vivianne joined Justice in Aging in 2019 and leads our work providing support to advocates and working with the state of California and counties to ensure the needs of older adults are prioritized in California’s Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA).
Vivianne started her legal career working as a staff attorney for the Utah State Courts Self Help Center. She has also worked as a legal aid attorney in Utah and California, practicing consumer and public benefits law. Vivianne completed an appellate clerkship with the Honorable Senior Justice Petra Jimenez-Maes of the New Mexico Supreme Court.
Vivianne is a graduate of the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law and earned a B.A. in Politics and Latin American Studies from Scripps College. She also serves as a stakeholder member of the California Elder & Disability Justice Coordinating Council.
Vivianne lives in her favorite city in the world, Los Angeles with her husband. She enjoys traveling, learning languages and finding new restaurants.
