Tiffany Huyenh-Cho

Director, California Medicare & Medicaid Advocacy

Tiffany leads Justice in Aging’s efforts to improve the experience of people dually enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid health coverage in California. She works to improve access to Medicaid and the policies and systems that impact how dually eligible individuals access health care and regularly meets with federal, state, and local partners to achieve these goals. Tiffany joined Justice in Aging in 2021.

Tiffany’s commitment to health policy came from years of providing direct legal services and observing how existing health care systems are so unnecessarily complex that people are often left without needed care, and amplified for older adults who navigate two sources of coverage. Tiffany began her career as a legal aid attorney at Bay Area Legal Aid helping people understand their health coverage, resolve insurance barriers, and eliminating improper medical bills. Tiffany earned her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and her undergraduate degree from U.C. San Diego.

Tiffany lives in the California Bay Area and outside of work, enjoys cooking meals with her partner, spending time with her nieces and nephew drawing pictures, and going on long walks to explore her city.

State Bar Admission: California.
