Samantha Morales joined Justice in Aging in 2024, and is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a member of the Health Team, Samantha works collaboratively to advance initiatives that improve access to essential benefits for low-income older adults enrolled in the Medicare and Medicaid programs including work on duals integration, Medicare Savings Programs, and oral health. Samantha brings over 10 years of experience serving older adults in public service in the non-profit sector notably at the Medicare Rights Center and in state government at the New Mexico Aging and Long-term Services Department.
Prior to joining Justice in Aging, Samantha served as the Director of the Home Health Care program at Encuentro, a community-based organization serving the Spanish speaking immigrant community in Albuquerque.
Samantha holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Arts degree in Politics from the New School University in New York. In her free time, Samantha enjoys traveling, reading fiction and collecting vinyl records.
