Remy joined Justice in Aging in 2018 and currently works on the communications team. She designs resources, assists with development efforts, and contributes to the writing and editing of publications and resources. She previously led communications for a national training and education center focused on elder justice, which Justice in Aging ran from 2017-2025.

Remy’s passion for working with older adults started at a young age while helping out at the adult day program for people with dementia that her mother ran. Later, Remy served in an AmeriCorps role as a caseworker for refugees and asylees at the International Rescue Committee, where she provided holistic case management, including aiding clients in navigating benefits and addressing barriers to health and wellness. There, she noticed that ageist assumptions and systemic discrimination created additional barriers for older refugees and asylees. The desire to work towards confronting and dismantling these barriers for older adults led Remy to Justice in Aging.

Remy graduated from Fairhaven College in 2015 with a BA in International Development. She lives in Durango, Colorado, and enjoys the beautiful nature the area has to offer.
