Hannah joined Justice in Aging in 2022. Hannah engages in legislative and administrative advocacy at the state and federal levels to increase equitable access to home and community-based services for low-income older adults and people with disabilities. Her efforts also aim to improve integration and coordination of care for people dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid.
Hannah’s grandparents had a profound impact on her life. Her ability to witness their aging and the challenges they faced navigating complex care systems piqued her interest in aging-related advocacy. This personal connection continues to fuel her passion for this work.
Hannah has a Master of Public Policy from American University and a BA from Brandeis University. Previous professional background includes state-based advocacy on behalf of the direct care workforce at PHI, and direct service roles at Mystic Valley Elder Services in Massachusetts and Community Legal Services in Philadelphia.
Hannah lives with her partner in Washington, D.C. She enjoys tending to her houseplants, obsessing over dogs, and creating pottery in her free time.
