Hannah joined Justice in Aging in 2022. In her role, she works to build power and strengthen advocacy capacity across the aging field. Through this work, Hannah supports advocates in advancing coordinated actions at the state and federal levels, ensuring that the experiences of older adults and on-the-ground implementation realities inform both state policy and national advocacy.
Hannah’s grandparents had a profound impact on her life. Her ability to witness their aging and the challenges they faced navigating complex care systems piqued her interest in aging-related advocacy. This personal connection continues to fuel her passion for this work.
Hannah has a Master of Public Policy from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Health, Science, Society, and Policy from Brandeis University. Prior to this role, Hannah worked on the Health Team at Justice in Aging on issues related to home and community-based services and integration of the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Additional professional background includes state-based advocacy on behalf of the direct care workforce at PHI, and direct service roles at Mystic Valley Elder Services in Massachusetts and Community Legal Services in Philadelphia.
Hannah lives with her husband, daughter, and dog in Washington, D.C. She enjoys tending to her houseplants, baking delicious treats, and creating pottery in her free time.
