Hannah joined Justice in Aging in 2022. She engages in legislative and administrative advocacy at the state and federal levels to increase access to home and community-based services for low-income older adults and people with disabilities. Her efforts also aim to improve integration and coordination of care for people dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid.
Hannah’s grandparents had a profound impact on her life. Her ability to witness their aging and the challenges they faced navigating complex care systems piqued her interest in aging-related advocacy. This personal connection continues to fuel her passion for this work.
Hannah holds a Master of Public Policy from American University and a BA from Brandeis University. Her previous professional background includes state-based advocacy on behalf of the direct care workforce at PHI and direct service roles at Mystic Valley Elder Services in Massachusetts and Community Legal Services in Philadelphia.
Hannah lives with her husband and dog in Washington, D.C.
