Elise joined Justice in Aging in 2026 as Senior Attorney. She serves as part of the health team, where she brings her public policy and advocacy experience to focus on improving access to health care and long-term services for low-income older adults.

Prior to joining Justice in Aging, Elise represented Medicaid-funded disability service providers as Senior Director of Federal Relations at the American Network of Community Options and Resources, where she advocated to strengthen long-term supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Elise has also previously served as both State Policy Counsel and Federal Policy Counsel at Americans United for Separation of Church and State, has worked as a legal fellow at FairVote, and has supported successful congressional campaigns in both Florida and Virginia.

Elise obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Law School in 2011 and her Bachelor of Arts in Government from the College of William and Mary in 2008. She currently lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two sons. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, playing pickleball, and cheering on her kids' sporting events from the sidelines.
