Congress should retain at least current funding levels for the Medicaid program. Also, Congress should reject any effort to add work requirements to the Medicaid program.
In order to accomplish the REC’s goal of recommending best practices and
opportunities to address racial equity for the State of California, we urge the Commission to
propose a framework that addresses intersectional discrimination against older adults and
disabled people of color.
